Maddie has been hogging the computer

Ok that is my excuse and I am sticking to it, although she really has been monopolizing the computer since she got back on Sunday. Her new friend Nate drove her home and stayed a couple nights. He is a nice young man and very tall. He and Maddie bonded in Europe and were lucky to have done so. The group was in Andorra when the volcano hit. Nate and Maddie had already made plans to go to Portugal and that was about the only route that was open for a few days. They had a lovely visit with Andre (a friend of Maddie's) and his family and then went back to Rome then London.

The last major event for Maddie was seeing Macbeth in the Globe... then it was home to River Falls for a few days and then home to us.

I am getting closer and closer to my surgery date May 21st and starting to freak a little bit. My arm is hurting and I am anxious to have it working again.

Tying up all the loose ends of paperwork and insurance crap is no fun either. My friend Susan just had similar surgery and has filled my head with tips and horrors, all of them pretty useful I guess. I don't think I will be able to do much on the computer for a while after the surgery, but who knows.

I did get my yellow warp done, but the red one is just sitting there staring at me. I just cannot get motivated.

We are going to see Robin Hood tomorrow so that should be fun. Maddie turns 21 on Monday and I am going to make her a crazy cake (her request) I bought so many presents for her over the past four months that we have been doling them out each day. Puck asked her today "Isn't it fun being Jewish?" a Hanukkah reference :) She seems to be enjoying it though and I think it is more fun this way

well that is about all... carry on people
